Sanofoam - Box of 4 aerosols

Four aerosols contain approximately 60 applications = £2 / application.

Recent trials in Cheshire & Northern Ireland showed Sanofoam to be a more effective than an antibiotic wash-out.

Remember that only semen should be inserted into a cow in oestrus, as at this point in time other infusions can go up the oviduct. Before and after oestrus the utero-tubal junction is more resistant to passage. Sanofoam is an ozone in oil expanding foam in an aerosol tin. It is a very effective disinfectant and is recommended fo external and "semi-internal" use. It can be used to flush, clean and disinfect:

• abcesses,
• sore festering areas between the udder and hind-leg, often seen in heifers- also lubricates.
• udder fold dermatitis,

• Treatment after extraction of a vaginal hormonal devices (Prid and CIDR)

• vaginal tears etc.
• extensively used in europe for disinfection of the birth canal 24 hours before and after insemination, for which longer catheter tubes are available - see related products.
• used as a first choice before antibiotics.
• kills viruses, bacteria & fungi.
• no residues or withdrawl period.
• one can contains approx. 120 seconds of foam
• one application lasts 5- 10 seconds, so averaging £2 per application.

Package

Sanofoam is packaged in aerosols with 200 ml.

Equivalent at 2 minute of total allocation of foam.

A box contains 4 aerosols and 10 x 6” catheters.
