How do you get a cow to drink? You can't, but you can support it while it is ill by using one of drench set and pumps, using PumpaCOW as a source of vital nutrients. Further water can be given through the system also. This is how you give fluids to a cow.
It is important to find out why the cow is not drinking or is dehydrated- e.g. diarrhoea, mastitis , metritis
What do you give dehydrated cows or cattle?- Water is essential, but PumpaCOW added to one or two of the daily pump- feeds will supply calcium, energy, electrolyte salts and rehydration. This is how you rehydrate a cow and also give it essential nutrients as supportive therapy. Our cow stomach pump / rumen pump allows you to pump fluids or water into the cows rumen stomach.
Always follow the instructions.
