Great feed blocks that we use for our sheep. We sell by the 1 tonne pallet only. Prices include delivery, unless you are in out of the way places, when a supplement may be charged, but we will phone you first.
1). Superblock Gold. 20% Protein. 13 ME MJ/Kg DM
High energy and protein feedblock with no urea, designed to provide nutritional support at key production times.
When to feed? Recommended for all classes of productive sheep and cattle. Ideal for flushing ewes at tupping, last 6 - 8 weeks of pregnancy, scanned ewes carrying twins or triplets and lactating animals to prevent mis-mothering.
We use these for the last few weeks before lambing outside at grass, for the thinner ewes that are likely carrying twins and triplets. They dont come to you for food, so they stay with their lambs and you get less mis-mothering.
2). Superblock Silver. 19% Protein (4.25 % from Urea) . 11 ME MJ/Kg DM
Multi-purpose feed block designed for cattle and sheep being fed on winter grazing or roughage.
When to feed? Perfect for higher performing hill sheep, lowland sheep through mid-pregnancy and higher performing cattle.
3). Superblock Bronze. 22% Protein (8.8% from Urea) . 9 ME MJ/Kg DM
High protein, medium energy feedblock with a medium urea inclusion designed for all stock being fed poorer quality forage and roughage, in particular straw. Working as a protein supplement to improve the digestion of long and lower quality roughage.
When to feed? Recommended for hill sheep, lowland sheep on poorer forages and cattle (over four months). To help ensure optimum performance, ewes being fed Superblock Bronze should switch to Gold or Silver in run up to lambing.
