BactoBAN dairy cleaning system shows good results, reducing bactoscan from over 50 to 14

Graham Whitting farms at Blackford Mill Farm, Redmarley, Gloucestershire. He milks 500 cows twice a day through a Boumatic 60 point rotary parlour. Current Bactoscan 14.

“Prior to using the BactoBan range to wash my parlour I was struggling to get Bactoscan an under 50. Being in a hard water area mineral build up was an issue. Since being on Bactoban for the last couple of months, my bactoscan has reduced and is now regularly around 14. This not only gives peace of mind, but obviously financial benefits too.
I particularly like that the system includes an acid rinse at every wash, which keeps on top of any mineral deposits, whilst the alkaline and power (concentrated hypochlorite) take care of any fat and protein build up. The vats, receiver  vessels and meters all look and smell clean.
Rob Price from GSAH set up the chemical in the dairy, and connected all the pipe work to the pumps. He then checked all dosage rates were correct, and adjusted my Boumatic Guardian auto washer so that it’s now a simple press and go! The system uses the same dosage rate for all three chemicals, making it a simple and cost effective system, particularly for re ordering. I will also use the 'REUSE' service offered by GSAH, whereby my empty IBCs will be collected on delivery of my next BactoBan set and reused, solving a problem of how to dispose of IBCs. I am now considering the same system on my milk silo”.
