Bluetongue BTV-3 cases in Devon and Cornwall
There have recently been several BTV-3 cases confirmed in Devon and Cornwall. All keepers must remain vigilant for the clinical signs and report suspicions to APHA.
Please talk to your private vet to discuss bluetongue vaccination.
Animals can move freely under a general licence within the England Restricted Zone however you must not move animals off your holding if they are showing bluetongue clinical signs.
All movements to Wales and Scotland require a licence, general or specific, and may require negative pre-movement test or vaccination. Further information is available on GOV.UK.
